You've scoured my website, scrolled through my work, but I guess it's time to tell you a little bit more about the girl behind the camera (can I still say girl? 32 year old woman doesn't quite sound the same..)
so hey! I'm Hannah, a Kent girl born and raised. I'm a mother to two beautiful children after the trials of infertility and IVF, and it made me realise just how much life is worth living to the fullest. I (finally) married "my Adam" in 2024 after 13 years together - yes, he made me wait since we were babies at 19 - but I guess it's true what they say; the most important things in life are definitely worth the wait (ah shucks, tad cheesy but hey, I'm rolling with it)
I'm your typical southern brit; quick witted and can bring the banter (looking at you, groomsmen) and you'll often hear me referencing sit-coms (usually Friends), see me dancing away to the music, bringing all the energy and always with a huge smile on my face.
I once had a guest ask me at a wedding "are you always like this?",
curious, eyes wide and heart in my throat, I responded, "like what...?"
"Happy" he replied.
well, fancy seeing you here..
WHo IS SHE? WHERE DID YOU FIND HER?
I got my first ever camera at 14, after my sweet mum and nan saved up for it all year to surprise me at Christmas. Safe to say, a camera has never left my hands since.
I love GIFs and I definitely over use them (and have totally titled myself the Queen of GIFS) so.. don't be surprised if I ever send you one.
I own way too many notebooks, much to my husbands dismay. I'm obsessed with them, especially hardbacks
*cries over paperchase*
I don't have a favourite genre of music, as long as the beat is good and I can sing my heart out to it in the car; it's a banger in my eyes.
I studied for two years in art college. My professor laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a wedding photographer.. but who's laughing now?
(probably still him)
Since I could draw, all I drew was wedding dresses; not even kidding. My parents always thought I'd grow up to be a designer, which was the dream.. until I took textiles for GCSE and realised I'm absolutely hopeless when it comes to sewing machines. But hey, at least I still get my fixes of wedding dresses this way.
Curry and pizza are my two favourite foods. If I could, I'd eat them everyday. Bombay Aloo and stuffed crust is where it's *at* (but it's gotta be a papa johns)
